A first-timer’s guide to a comedy club night
When to arrive, where to sit, and whether the front row is really that dangerous.
Never been to a comedy club? Here is the whole evening. Arrive for doors at 6:15 PM to get the table you want — seating is unreserved cabaret style, and groups arriving together sit together. The show starts at 7 PM sharp and latecomers wait until the interval.
The front row is not a trap: our MCs chat, they don’t attack. Phones stay away during the acts, the bar stays open through the interval, and photos with the comics after the show are very much allowed.
Bring friends, bring an open mind, and leave ten minutes earlier than you think. Wren Passage parking is unforgiving.
